Unlike remote-cooled and water-cooled ice machines, this model doesn't require additional refrigerant lines, water lines, or connections; this streamlines installation in addition to future maintenance and servicing. For convenience in kitchen areas, the ice maker has a digital controller with a digital status screen, bin overload protection, and an automatic cleaning cycle. If the head needs servicing, the front panel is hinged for component access.
